The New Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta® 01 is now available to consumers

Nokian Tyres’ new studded winter tire, the Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta® 01, is the most exciting new arrival for the coming winter. The tire is now available at tire retailers in the Nordic countries, North America, and Central Europe.

“This innovative new product continues the company’s long legacy as the inventor of the winter tire: it is a studded tire that reacts to changes in driving conditions,” says Nokian Tyres.

The Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 01 tire was launched in March at Nokian Tyres’ test center in Ivalo. Pre-sales of the product by retailers have exceeded expectations, as noted in Nokian Tyres’ January–June 2026 half-year report.

The Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 01 is designed for passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs. The product’s main markets are the Nordic countries—Finland, Sweden, and Norway—as well as the United States, Canada, and Japan.
