Automechanika Shanghai Invites You: Join the Automediat.com Group Trip to China, December 1–7, 2026

Automechanika Shanghai will be held December 2–5, 2026. The event is expected to attract 7,600 exhibitors, with an exhibition area spanning 390,000 square meters. Learn more about the 2026 event.

Last year’s Automechanika Shanghai attracted 253,691 visitors from 190 countries and regions, with 7,465 exhibitors participating. Visitor numbers increased by 14 percent from the previous year. The 2025 trade show by the numbers.

Last year, Automediat took nine businesspeople from Finland to the trade show. Feedback on the trip was excellent.

Why go to Shanghai?

Automechanika Shanghai features aftermarket solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, spare parts, diagnostics, repair shop technology, tires, and China’s latest vehicle technology. Leading Chinese manufacturers will be showcasing their products at the trade show.

For repair shops, auto parts retailers, and importers, the fair offers an opportunity to compare products, find new suppliers, and speak directly with manufacturers. At the same time, you’ll get to see what technologies and services are shaping the future of the industry. Explore what the fair has to offer.

Meetings with Manufacturers Tailored to Participants’ Needs

Based on the requests of Finnish participants, separate meetings with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers can be arranged this year as part of the trip. So, when you register, let us know what kinds of products or partners you’re interested in.

The Buyer Program Adds Value to Your Trade Show Trip

The travel itinerary includes participation in Automechanika’s international Buyer Program. According to the current plan, buyers accepted into the program will be offered two complimentary nights in a single room with breakfast from December 2–4, transportation between the trade show hotel and the exhibition center, as well as admission and fast-track service. Benefits also include access to the Buyers’ Lounge, business meetings, networking opportunities, and guided tours of the trade show.

From Helsinki to Shanghai in Early December

The planned travel dates are December 1–7, 2026. The outbound flight on Juneyao Air departs from Helsinki on the evening of December 1, and the return flight from Shanghai departs on the morning of December 7. Valentina Ahlavuo of Automedia will arrive in Shanghai as an international media representative a couple of days before the group and will be there to meet them at the Shanghai airport.

Trip Budget and Personal Flight Arrangements

The preliminary total budget for the trip is 1,600–1,700 euros per person. This estimate covers economy-class flights, self-paid hotel stays, airport transfers, and office and organizational expenses. Meals and local travel expenses are not included in this estimate. We recommend budgeting 1,700 euros per person.

You can also book your own flight and join the group in Shanghai. The buyer program’s accommodation benefits are still available under the same terms and conditions.
