Automechanika Frankfurt is coming up: 47 innovations nominated for the Innovation Awards

The finalists for the Automechanika Frankfurt Innovation Awards 2026 have been selected. An international panel of experts shortlisted 47 innovations from a record 185 entries.

The panel evaluated the solutions based on criteria such as innovation, user benefits, functionality, market potential, safety, sustainability, and energy and resource efficiency.

According to experts, alongside digitalization, artificial intelligence and the circular economy in particular have emerged as key drivers of innovation in the automotive aftermarket. Solutions entered in the competition increasingly combine products, data, software, and sustainable service models.

Awards will be presented in ten categories. A new addition is the “Circular Economy & Remanufacturing” series, which focuses on the circular economy and remanufacturing. In addition, the Green Award will be presented to a particularly sustainable product or solution.

The winners will be announced on the opening day of Automechanika Frankfurt, September 8, at 5:00 p.m. on the AMBITION stage in the Festhalle. The nominated and award-winning innovations will be showcased starting September 9 in the Innovation4Mobility area in Hall 3.0.
